France claimed their 1st XV Nations Grand Slam since 2004 when they beat out England at the weekend. The game was by no means a pretty affair, the conditions were wet and the play was scrappy, but France ground it out to take victory and with it, the 2010 VI Nations trophy.

In a game where there isn’t much to highlight on, England looked to be the better side, and scored the only try of the match, but their ill-discipline let them down, allowing France to outscore them and take the spoils.
