Ebersohn to represent SA at Olympics?

I was looking through clips on Youtube today and came across this funny clip of Springbok sevens star Robert Ebersohn in what looks like him trying out for the 2012 London Olympics.

Ebersohn gets ankle tapped by a USA player during the San Diego Sevens tournament and does a full front flip/roll, is back on his feet and running all in one motion. There’s no denying that this guy is a special talent. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him earning a full test cap in the next two years.

You can catch Robert Eberhson captaining the Springbok under 20′s in the up and coming IRB Junior World championships in Japan later this year.

If  you like the sound of that headline, click here to sign a petition to get rugby sevens accepted as an official Olympic sport. Come 2012 you could be seeing Robert Ebersohn and the rest of Paul Treu’s men winning Olympic gold at the London Olympic Games.
