It’s rugby sevens time again baby…! The 2009/2010 World Sevens Series campaign kicks off in non other than lavish Dubai this weekend. The tournament then heads to our own back yard, George, South Africa next weekend for the second of eight tournaments in the series.

This seasons tournament is bound to be bigger an better than ever now that rugby sevens has been included for the 2016 Olympic Games.

With the Springboks going into the tournament as favourites, it is sure to bring a new dynamic to the team and with it, new challenges. They are the defending champions in Dubai as well as in George, on top of defending their IRB crown, they will face current IRB Sevens World Cup champions, Wales, hosts Arabian Gulf and Australia in their Pool A matches.
