The Springboks held their first training session ahead of the France test, at a waterlogged UCT pitch on Tuesday, including a scrum session with legendary Springbok prop, Os du Randt, who has recently been appointed the Sringboks’ scrum coach.

The French must be happy with the Bok team chosen…Why the F@#k would anyone put zain in on full back??? Helium’s excuse was that Steyn was not up to scratch…so then you put in someone thats better, not worse. I recon he will be the weak link in the backline and the French will exploit him, cause they saw how he reacted against Wales. If I was Ruan Pienaar, I would wave SA goodbye and go make a shitload of money somewhere else. He is like he Kevin Petersen of scrumhalves…

@Pire, better than Frans Steyn…? Who would that be? But ya, agree with you, Kirchner is erratic at best. Ricky gets a lot of shit, but he did well over the weekend and Ruan has been down with the flu this week, so I think it was a good choice to start with Ricky.

Ruan is heading overseas soon though. Will be a big loss. Just hope PDV selects him from there.
