@ Brain: Thank you for the comment and publicly declaring online you are a Lions fan! :)

I am not sure if I completely understand what you are trying to say though. If a person is a "die-hard" fan then surely you wouldn't want to switch between supporting different provinces. So the dilemma is solved.

On another note though, I think us as fans, must realise that players are professionals and transfer to another province, club, etc for entirely different reasons as to why fans support that specific province.

If a fan supports a province it is usually because he is from that particular province and therefore wants to scream and shout for the place he is from and grew up in. We are fans who support teams with emotion, hope and pride, it is not our job or profession.

At least that is my take on it, I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

So can fan's move from one province to another too!? I between a rock and a hard place! You see I am a die hard (hush hush) lions fan. I have been a transvaal fan since the day I can remember. So I had and have to endure a lot of punishment, humiliation and I am the laughing stock amongst my friends and everyone else! But we have to be loyal...right? Or can I also ask the Lions rugby union to release me of my ''contract''?
