Gloucester hooker Oliver Azam has been handed a four week ban for head butting Northampton’s Adam Eustace in their recent Premiership game, which could spell the end of his career in English rugby. The former France international will now be out of action on May 25th, three days before the Premiership play-off final. Gloucester currently sit in 3rd position in the league table and look set to make it into the semi-finals of the play off, but were they to lose at that stage, Azam could well have played his last game for the club amidst rumours he may retire at the end of the season.
